SWIBA Ministry Grant

Overview: We voted to set aside $10,000 from our resources invested through WatersEdge Ministry Services. These resources are available in 2024 to provide grant funds to assist SWIBA churches to fulfill the mission God has called them to accomplish. Grants can be applied to evangelism endeavors, local outreach efforts, church events, discipleship ministries, or equipment to assist such functions as churches strive to make a Gospel impact in their community. If your church is seeking to engage in Kingdom causes, and needs a little extra support, we want to partner with you.

Guidelines:

• Churches cannot use these funds to pay church personnel for services rendered.
• Grants are matching in nature, and this program can potentially provide a match up to $1,000 in funding per request.
• Churches are eligible to receive no more than two grants per year.

Process: Churches can submit grant requests to the Ministry Coordinator who will forward them to the appropriate Ministry Team for consideration and approval. The Admin and Leadership Teams will review the effectiveness of this program and provide ongoing guidance for future use of such funds. Within a month of completing the project, we ask that you share a report with stories/photos of how this grant helped the church in carrying out its mission.

Scholarship funds are available to support mission trips through SWIBA and there are resources for mission trips and camp scholarships through SCBI and our State WMU. Contact SWIBA for details.
