North American Mission Board
North American Mission Board (NAMB) is the domestic ministry of the Southern Baptist Convention. SWIBA proudly partners with NAMB to plant and revitalize churches, provide disaster relief, and do the work of evangelism right in our own neighborhoods.

SWIBA Disaster Relief
The mission of the State Convention of Baptists in Indiana Disaster Relief, in cooperation with the Southern Baptist North American Mission Board Disaster Relief, is to train, credential and prepare Born Again Believers to respond in a lovingly Christ-like manner to people at home and around the world affected by a disastrous event and support their volunteer efforts by providing administrative, organizational or other resources necessary for their ministry to be successful.
The philosophy behind Southern Baptist disaster relief efforts has been summed up in the phrase, “A cup of cold water in Jesus name.” We are following the example of Jesus of Nazareth when He fed the 5,000 and the 4,000, and His teachings in the parable of the Good Samaritan and Matthew 25:32-46.
BCM at USI
BCM is a ministry of the Southwest Indiana Baptist Association and is a registered student organization at the University of Southern Indiana. BCM works alongside local churches to make disciples for Christ, connect like minded students with each other, and connect students with local churches while attending USI. This is accomplished through on-campus gatherings to worship, study the Bible, fellowship, and networking students together. All students are welcome!
